With Palworld, base building got a major upgrade โ new workstations, expanded Pal capacity (20 per base!), and new resource nodes. Here is how to build an optimized base from scratch.
Top 3 Base Locations
Plateau of Beginnings โ Safe, flat, near starting resources. Best for first base.
Volcano Region (-600, -400) โ Rich ore + coal nodes, natural Kindling bonus.
Snow Mountain (200, 400) โ Quartz nodes, Cooling bonus for refrigerated storage.
Optimal Pal Assignments
Each base holds 20 working Pals in 1.0. Recommended spread: 2 Kindling, 2 Watering, 2 Planting, 2 Gathering, 3 Handiwork, 3 Mining, 2 Transporting, 2 Cooling, 1 Electricity, 1 Medicine.
Automation Tips
